My Kids Like the Ha Ha Tonka

So, my kids seem to like my favorite band, Ha Ha Tonka. After I left for the show tonight, the made some Ha Ha Tonka art.

Cora looked at their picture in the liner notes of their new CD, Death of a Decade and drew them:

Henry imagined them as a trio of cowboys:

For good measure, here's Cora in one of my Ha Ha Tonka tees, which she used for pajamas until I took it back:

Those drawings are AWESOME!!! My 8 yr old loves HHT, too. He doesn't really have a choice, as it's about all I listen to in the car, the house, my computer, etc. Glad to know there's another fan out there who's a mom. I always feel so old at the live shows. Cheers!

Thanks. For the record though, I'm the dad.
Outside of "12-Inch 3-Speed," I think their favorite song is "Usual Suspects."

Oops! I think I got the idea that you were a mom from the blurb in the margin about expecting another baby. Sorry bout that! lol...Brian sent me an mp3 of HHT's version of Crowded Tub by Shel Silverstein. It's geared toward the littles and very cute. Let me know if you'd like me to send it in an email.

I updated that just now, realized that it was about a year behind. Baby is now walking around very well in her pink HHT onesie, which came with that mp3. But thanks for the offer!
